Well, this list is now obsolete. Seems Blizzard thinks WoW players haven’t got the intellect to decide between so many stat combos.

Character Consolidation

Moved Jellysamich (Sami) and Cherimoya (Cheri) from Earthen Ring to The Scryers. Not on Earthen Ring much anymore.

And considering that absolutely crappy mob (and pet) behaviour I’ve experienced lately I’m not likely to be on WOW much longer.

New header at last

Finally got around to playing with FRAPS. Going to take awhile to get a picture I like but it’ll give me something to play with.

Screenshots

I’m running Vista these days. last time I tried to take screenshots I found that they seemed to be from a few seconds before, or after, the time I pressed the key. I’ve reconfigured WoW since then but haven’t had the occasion to try more screenshots.

If this doesn’t work it might finally be time to get FRAPS.

What was old is new again.

Finally broke down and bought a game card to reactivate my old account. Haven’t been on it for about ten months or so.

Even though it’s an old server and quite full it would seem my old guild still doesn’t do instances and seem to lack the drive to do raids.

Now have to decide whether to let one or the other, or both, accounts go or possibly merge the best of both accounts into one.

I have reinstalled both Vanguard and EverQuest. Going to recheck those to see if they can grab my interest. Also have to recheck LOTR, if I can remember my old log-in.

Problem with all these is is that I’m a roleplayer, not a ruleplayer. I’m looking for a hobby, as D&D was back in the day, not just a “game” which is pretty much what all the above are, and WoW is.

Much as I’d like to browse WoW sites from work a lot are blocked, get a real ugly “That’s bad touching” page instead. Petopia for example, and the WOW Armoury.

But the blogs seem ok, weird.

Looks ok, but I am Draenei. I should be using a crossbow. :| The only ones I’ve seen seem to be quest rewards. problem is is that I don’t do quests. I spend all my time mining and hunting for cloth and stuff for the rest of the House.

WoW Web Stats

I’ve been considering “getting serious” about Calamander and her pet. I’ve read about the above and visited the place once or twice. Never made any sense to me. Found a link that might help.

Professions

• All 23-hour profession cooldowns are now 20-hour cooldowns.
• All 4-day cooldowns are now 3 days, 20 hours.

 

Items

• Goblin Jumper Cables are no longer a trinket item.
• Items that enchant other items no longer have tradeskill requirements (Mithril Spurs, Shield Spikes, Weapon Chains, etc.).
• Most Main-Hand weapons are now One-Hand weapons.
• The Winterfall Firewater buff is no longer dispellable.
